About Us

Angelina's House is a non-profit organization registered in the State of Louisiana. It was created for the sole purpose of helping people who, for different reasons, are in need of basic services such as food, shelter, medical, legal and spiritual advice.

We are a group of volunteers from different organizations and backgrounds who share one common goal:  to help the homeless and indigent, and the immigrant workers in our community.

You can find us every Friday morning at the corner of Martin Luther King and S.Claiborne as we feed breakfast and distribute clothing to the homeless and immigrant workers who gather there daily. Everyone is welcome to join us in solidarity and fellowship.

We are also active participants in the Gillespie Memorial Community Breakfast, which meets every second Saturday of each month.  Its members belong to various organizations and network to examine and find solutions to the socio-economic and social justice concerns of the citizens of New Orleans. Casa Angelina is often the sole organization representing the Latino community, and always without regard for one's legal status.

Please visit our "Services/Programs" page for more information about our endeavors and details of our various programs.

If you would like to stop by our house and/or make a donation, please see our "Contacts" page.

Thanks for stopping by and being a friend of Casa Angelina.
